Dr. Sarah Jethro is a Family Medicine physician with a personal “old country doctor” approach to care who values lasting relationships with patients. She felt called to serve through medicine during her Christian mission trip in Mozambique, Africa. She first earned her Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) from A&M Commerce and worked as a medical assistant/scribe, then earned her D.O. from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She completed residency at UT Athens–her training included hospital and ICU care, women’s health, prenatal care, obstetrics, surgical deliveries, pediatrics, and managing acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages. Dr. Jethro is board-certified in Family Medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys life with her husband, their dogs, and their chickens.
Whether it’s welcoming a new baby, general wellness, or managing chronic conditions, Dr. Jethro’s here to make healthcare feel human again.
